Cecile Reavis Brandon

Boonville Mrs. Cecile Lea Johnson Reavis Brandon, 94, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at SECU Hospice Care Center.  Cecile was born September 15, 1925 in Iredell County to Harlem and Della Parker Johnson.  She was a member of South Oak Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Cecile was preceded in death by her husband, JC Reavis; and eleven siblings.  She is survived by four children, Rickie Reavis, Shelby Reavis, Mickie (Ann) Reavis, and Dink (Aline) Reavis; grandchildren, Tammy, Jason, Wendy, Gidget, Jeremy, Bobby and Caleb; great grandchildren, McKinley, Kylie, Taylor, Haley, Austin, Isaac, Blake, Madisun, Gracie, Brandon, and Bryson; a great-great grandson Brody; and several nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Benny Adams and Pastor Jim Miles officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM, prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 N. Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of SECU Hospice Care Center for the loving care given to Cecile.
