Charlene Taylor Wilbanks

Charlene Taylor Wilbanks, 69, of East Bend, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at her home. She was born in Yadkin County on September 26, 1952 to Everette Gray and Grace Matthews Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Walter Roscoe Wilbanks; her children, Marcia Wilbanks (Bryan) Brown and Michael Shane (Ashley) Wilbanks; grandchildren, McKenzey and Aydin Brown, and Lola and Liam Wilbanks; a brother, Terry Taylor; and special friends, Jean and Dennis Bowen. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00AM at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Watts and Rev. Ottis Hurst officiating. The family wishes to thank Novant Cardiology, Novant Village Point Family Medicine, the nurses at Advance Home Care, Salem Surgical Associates, and Nephrology Associates for their loving care for Charlene.
