Charles "Chuck" Fredrick Kenney

Charles “Chuck” Fredrick Kenney,72, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his home. He was born in Surry County on October 24, 1947; son of the late Charles Ulysses Kenney and Betty Lawrence Madacsi. SSG Chuck Kenney, retired, was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U. S. Army, a member of the VFW Post 10346 and worked as a DJ with WIFM radio. Survivors are his sisters; Cindy Thomas, Buffy (Mike) Mitchell and Alisa Smith) and brothers; Chris (Esther) Kenney and Ken Kenney. A graveside service will be held at Second Chance Church in Dobson on Wednesday June 10, 2020 at 2:30 PM with Rev. Terry Coe officiating and Full Military Honors by VFW Post 10346. Charles can be viewed Tuesday on June 9, 2020 from 12:00 noon till 5:00 pm and on Wednesday June 10, 2020 from 8:00 am till 12:00 noon at Gentry Family Funeral Service, Yadkinville.
