Charles Edward Sale

Sale Yadkinville-“I fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. Mr. Charles Edward Sale, 67, of Yadkinville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. He was born in Yadkin County on December 23, 1952 to E.D.and Mozelle Mickles Sale. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after more than 30 years of service. Charles loved to hunt and fish especially at the beach. He had a passion for restoring antique tractors and participating in tractor pulls when he was able. He will be greatly missed by his furry friend, Daisy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Ross Sale. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Debbie Hutchens Sale; his daughters, Laura Hobson (Lincoln) and Anna Snow ( Cody) ; his grandchildren, Jackson Hobson and Charlee Hobson; two sisters, Shirley (Freddie) Doub and Fay (Emilio) Camacho. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 6-8 at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 3:00 PM at East Bend Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Boggs and Lincoln Hobson officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 2:30 until 3:00. Burial will follow in the East Bend Friends Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice of Yadkin County, 243 N.
