Charles William Shoemaker

Rev. Charles William Shoemaker, 88, of Hamptonville, NC formerly of Henderson, NC passed away on January 19, 2021 at his son's home. He was born in Virginia on January 16, 1933; son of the late Mary Meadows Shoemaker, he was also, preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Kay Shoemaker, a daughter; Barbara Jean Fulkner and several siblings. Survivors include his children; Michael (Mike) and Lisa Shoemaker, Charles William Shoemaker, Jr., Robbie Nash, Evelyn Brooks and Charlotte Johnson, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a sister; Doris Haynes and a brother; Alfred Shoemaker. Rev. Shoemaker was a retired Minister around the Henderson, NC area. His service will be held Sunday January 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm in Blacknall cemetery in Henderson, NC. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Shoemaker family.
