Charles Donald Tucker

Charles Donald Tucker, 83, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away Monday, June 10, 2019. He was born December 28, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Charles Conrad Tucker and Annie Sue Gray Tucker. Mr. Tucker served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 60 years Jewell Key Tucker; Son Darrin (Sue) Tucker; daughter Julie Smith; grandchildren Walker Scott, Holli Scott, Tucker Smith; two sisters Betty Key, Ann Martin; a brother Samuel (Brenda) Tucker Special K9 Scooter; several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Friday June 14, 2019 at Mountain View Baptist Church. His funeral will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM at the church by Rev. Tim Tucker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Full Military Honors by the NC National Guard and the VFW Post 10346. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of ICU 2nd floor at Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mr. Tucker.
