Charlotte Miller Baity

Mrs. Charlotte Miller Baity, 82, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born December 23, 1942 to the late Charles Isaac Miller and Melba Lucinda Todd Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, John Thomas “Tommy” Baity; grandchildren, Jake Thomas Baity I, Jake Thomas Baity II, Angel Briana Stone, Chloe Danyelle Stone, Tucker Lee Keaton, and Asher Hill; and a brother, Chuck Miller. Mrs. Baity had been a member of Courtney Baptist Church since her childhood and enjoyed the fellowship of her church congregation. She spent thirty years teaching and loving children at Courtney Elementary School. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. One of the favorite places for her family to spend time together was having a cup of coffee on grandma's back porch enjoying her flowers. She is survived by her children, Tim (Julia) Baity, Ted (Lorie) Baity, Cindy (Michael) Stone; grandchildren, Hannah (Cody) Keaton, Caleb (Kim) Baity, Jessica (Lee) Wright, Jennifer (Kaleb) Hill, Michaela Stone (fiancé, Ian Hein); great-grandchildren, Abigail Keaton, Annamae Keaton, Catherine Baity, Matthew Baity, Oliver Wright, Maverick Wright, Charlotte Hill, Marleigh Wright; her brothers, Dennis (Denise) Miller, David (Elaine) Miller; sister-in-law Linda Baity. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Courtney Baptist Church. Mrs. Baity’s funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Courtney Baptist Church Recreation Building Fund, 3341 Courtney Church Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
