Chelsea Victoria Davis

Hamptonville Ms. Chelsea Victoria Davis, 28, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Chelsea was born February 17, 1994 in Iredell County to Freddy Davis II and Lynn Harris Davis. She was a 2012 graduate of Starmount High School where she played soccer, was on the swim team, played in the band and the color guard. Chelsea was a Team Lead at Lydall in Hamptonville. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She was very outgoing and loved life. Her daughter was the light of her life. Chelsea was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Thompson and a grandmother, Linda Davis. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Daisy Lynn Smith; step mother, Kadeana Davis; brothers Bradley Davis and Nathan Cain; sister, Eevie Davis; and grandparents, Thomas and Brenda Harris and Freddy Davis I. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church in Hamptonville with Pastor Chris Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made for Chelsea’s daughter, Daisy. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Claudia Del Castillo for everything.
