Christopher Shane Richardson

Mr. Christopher Shane Richardson, 47, beloved father and brother, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center due to complications of an aortic dissection.  Mr. Richardson was born September 25, 1971 in Surry County to the late Weldon and Lucile Pendergrass Richardson.  He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, having served during the Gulf War.  Mr. Richardson was a member of Northwood Baptist Church. Mr. Richardson is survived by his two sons, Hunter Shane Richardson and Jacob Fisher Richardson; his sons mother, Tonya Richardson; two sisters, Diane Richardson Watt & husband Thomas and Lavonne Richardson; nieces, Savannah (CJ) Boltz and Samantha (Reece) Roseboro; great nieces & nephew, Neveah, Jada, Avianna, and Amaiyah; aunts and uncles, James (Judy) Rhanor and Carolyn Godfrey; and several cousins. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday January 12, 2019 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Randy Hardison officiating. Full military honors will be provided by Yadkin VFW Post 10346 and Marine Corps Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
