Christopher Matthew Wood

Jonesville Mr. Christopher Matthew “Matt” Wood, 40, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at his home. Mr. Wood was born July 3, 1980 in Lenior County to Charlie “CT” and Patricia Baysden Wood. He enjoyed fishing and listening to country music. In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by two brothers, Chuck (Allison) Wood and Joshua (Tiffany) Wood; nieces and nephews, Caroline, Jackson, Lily, Ethan, and Connor Wood; and three aunts, Sheila Guthrie, Jimmie Kennemur, and Rose (Jerry) Carver. A small family service will be conducted Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Matt’s home. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Wood family.
