Christy Doub Hayes

Ayden Mrs. Christy Doub Hayes, 41, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Hayes was born June 1, 1976 in Forsyth County to Arlis Toby Doub and Alberta Lynn Brias. She enjoyed drawing, writing, and spending time with family. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her father. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Timothy Hayes; five children, Cassie Doub, Cody Thompson (Amanda Lawson), Lacey (David) Phillips, Michael Creech (Emily Smith), and Skyler Creech (Jensen Wiles); seven grandchildren, Zackary, Chole, Robert, Kinsley, Oaklyn, Maeleigh, and Waylon; one sister, Toni Burguess (Keven Linder); and two brothers, Stanley Burguess and Bill Morin. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Old Fashioned Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Fashioned Baptist Church 7220 Mayberry Mill Road Hamptonville, NC 27020. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hayes family.
