Christy Shore Jester

Christy Leann Shore Jester, age 50, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born on November 9, 1969 in Yadkin County to the late Calvin C. Shore and Lois Hayes Shore. Ms. Shore enjoyed gardening, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children, John Alexander “Alex” Jester, and Olivia Eden Jester; grandchild, Monroe Jade Sampson; sister, Judy Booe; brothers, Ronald (Kim) Shore, and Tommy (Deana) Shore; nieces, Julie Waddell, Stephanie Brewer, Amber Shore; nephew, Ryan (Melissa) Shore; great-nieces, Ashlen Booe, Ayla Brewer, Peyton Fleming, London Fleming; great-nephews, Brantley Waddell, Calvin Fleming; great-great-nephew, Cayden; step-great nieces and nephew, Blake, Brown, Kaitlyn Brown, and Kasey Brown. A funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, September, 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM, in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. J.P. Sizemore, and Rev. Tony Goins officiating. A public viewing will be Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Gentry Family Funeral Service from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Longtown Cemetery.
