Clarence "Junior" John Hemmingway

Yadkinville Mr. Clarence “Junior” John Hemmingway, 63, of Bevel Jones Court passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at his home. He was born March 10, 1955 in Mercer County, NJ to the late Clarence John Hemmingway and Barbara Krisco Hemmingway. Mr. Hemmingway was retired from the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation in Bridge Construction, was a member of Collide Church of Yadkinville, and a veteran of the US Navy. Surviving are his wife, Maryann Holland Hemmingway, of the home; 3 sons, Timothy Hemmingway, Steven Hemmingway, Raymond Tishe; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Hemmingway, Cheryl Rambo; 9 grandchildren, Kaden, Liam, John, Shamus, Nigel, and Fiona Rambo, Lillian and Clair Hemmingway, Gracie Tishe; sisters, Mary Cenite, Louise Hemmingway; brothers, Mike, Dave, Lou, Pete, and John Hemmingway. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Nelson Spaulding officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
