Boonville – Clark Wayne Mathis, 58, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born December 26, 1962 in Yadkin County to Norman Fox Mathis and Patty Weatherman Mathis. Clark was preceded in death by his father, Norman Mathis; grandparents, Dawson and Ethel Weatherman, Sanders and Lillian Mathis. Surviving is his mother, Patty Mathis; brothers, Norman C. (Barbara) Mathis, Kent Mathis; sisters, Teresa (Mike) Mathis, Cathy M. Recchio; nephews, Adam (Erica) Mathis, Shane (Christy) Collins; nieces, Angela (Jamie) Briggi, India (Shawn) Collins; special cousins, Michael Mathis, Perry Vestal. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Bill Foust and Steve Wagoner. Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.
