Claude "C.D." Dayton Spillman, Jr.

Claude Dayton “C.D.” Spillman, Jr., 89, passed away Monday July 16, 2018. He was born August 30, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late Claude Dayton Spillman, Sr. and Susan Willard Spillman. Mr. Spillman was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Hazel Greene. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Thursday July 19, 2018 at Forbush Baptist Church. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM at the church by Rev. Justin Crouse, Rev. Joe Souther. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Pruitt Healthcare for the loving care given to Mr. Spillman.
