Clayton Clifton “Clay” Gregory, 22, passed away Monday October 23, 2023. He was born August 27, 2001 in Forsyth County to Kenny Clifton Gregory and Janice Marie Johnson Gregory. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Wayne E. Johnson, Edward Gregory; uncle David W. Johnson. Surviving are his parents Kenny Gregory, Janice Gregory; sister Leslie (Bryan) Howe; grandmothers Margetta (Ellen) Johnson, Johnny Teague Gregory; nephew Brayden Howe; niece Kaylee Howe; best friends John Collins, Dylan Senner; K-9 Moo Rex; several aunts, uncle, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday October 28, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday October 29, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Paul Williams. Clayton always had a saying “Nerds Rule.” Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Gregory family.
