Clifton William "Bill" Bauguess

Clifton William “Bill” Bauguess, Jr., 80, passed away on Monday April 12, 2021 at SECU Hospice Home. He was born on May 5, 1940 in Forsyth County, NC; son of the late; Clifton William Bauguess and Clara Gentry Bauguess. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws; Edward and Irene Seymour Shore. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years; Shelby Shore Bauguess, children; Debbie Tuttle (Sam) and Angela Hobson (Derrick), grandchildren, Benjamin Hobson (Fiancée Helen Peel) and Lauren Hobson (Fiancé Eli Shore), a sister; Joan Pinnix and a brother; Wayne Bauguess. He attended First Baptist Church of Yadkinville. Bill, who was a talented wood crafter, loved his grandchildren and his special companion Abby. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Longtown cemetery with Dr. Bill Johnson and Chaplin Mark Brown officiating. Mr. Bauguess will lie in state on Friday April 16, 2021 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 8:00 to 2:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service Yadkinville.
