Clyde Edward "Ed" Shore

Mr. Clyde Edward “Ed” Shore, 82, of High Point, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was born in Davie County on December 3, 1940 to the late Clyde F. Shore and Mary Sue Sprinkle Shore. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Myers Shore; sons, Glenn Shore (Lisa Jefferson) and Kevin Shore; seven grandchildren, Kacey (Ryan) Gorman, Lauren (Ben) Cecil, Brittany (Brad) Eller, Anna Sides (Cody Cordell), Brandon Shore, Matthew Shore, and Holden Shore; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Billy Shore. He was a member of Conrad Memorial Baptist Church in High Point. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Marcus Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Ed’s memory to Conrad Memorial Baptist Church, 1920 N. Centennial St, High Point, NC 27262, Piedmont Christian Homes, 1510 Deep River Rd, High Point, NC 27265, or Medi Hospice, 315 S Talbert Blvd, Lexington, NC 27292.
