Colene Brown Sheek

Colene Brown Sheek, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday January 20, 2022. She was born April 12, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late Gurney Brown and Winnie Huffman Brown. Mrs. Sheek was a member of Northwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Mary B. Carter, Dorothy B. Hanes; brother Coy Brown. Surviving are her husband of 70 years Roy Sheek; son Steven (Joyce) Sheek; grandchildren Derrick Sheek, Jason (Jordan) Sheek; sister Novella Reece. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday January 23, 2022 at Northwood Baptist Church. Her funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM after the visitation at the church by Rev. Tim Webb and Rev. Hubert Wishon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Sheek family.
