Enjoyable times were spent with family and friends at her and Mitchell’s beach home in Emerald Isle. In addition to her parents, Cora Lee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mitchell Montgomery Casstevens; her step father, Claude H. Hobson; infant great grandson, Cayden Austin Boehme; her siblings, Janice Moxley, Ross Crissman, and Jack Crissman; and a brother-in-law, Junior Hutchens. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela (John) Boehme; grandchildren Austin (Lara) Boehme, and Hunter (Melissa) Boehme; great grandchildren, Knox Austin Boehme, Xiomara Kelish Boehme, and Isaac Nolan Hall; two sisters, Frankie Hutchens and Kay (Wayne) Hayes; sisters-in-law, Linda Crissman and Eloise Crissman; brother-in-law, Bobby Moxley; and numerous special nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Will Hamric, Luke Money, and Justin Crouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond Hill Baptist Church Youth Fund, 2205 Richmond Hill Church Road, Boonville, NC 27011. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Magnolia’s and Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Cora Lee.
