Danny Lee Wagoner

Dobson Mr. Danny Lee Wagoner, 66, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. Mr. Wagoner was born February 16, 1952 in Yadkin County. Mr. Wagoner was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Barbara Parrish Wagoner; and three great grandchildren, Raven Wagoner, Donnie Gray Wagoner, Jr., and Heath Ray Wagoner. He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Versie Mendenhall; three children, Patricia (Kevin) Calloway; Robert (Laurie) Wagoner, and Donnie (Heather) Wagoner; grandchildren, Cody (Victoria) Wagoner, Barbara Wagoner, Autumn (Damien) Earls, Ashton Calloway, & Dannon Calloway; great grandchildren, Draven Wagoner, Aria Wagoner, and James Wagoner; four sisters, Vickie Mendenhall, Alene (Danny) Brown, Michelle (Robert) Whitaker, and Renee Mendenhall; one brother, Eddie (Robin) Mendenhall; special friends, Eddie Kilby and Ann Carter; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00PM, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Boonville Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Link officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30PM prior to the service at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Kindred Hospital, Yadkin Valley Home Health, and Hugh Chatham Wound Care for the loving care given to Mr. Wagoner and to Ann Carter for all the love shown to the family.
