Duane Frederick Smith, Sr.

June 26, 1970 — May 24, 2021

Duane Frederick Smith, Sr., 50, passed away on Monday May 24, 2021. He was born on June 26, 1970 in Washington, DC. Duane F. Smith Sr.’s pride and joy was the particular love and care he demonstrated every day for his family. Duane F. Smith Sr. met the love of his life at the age of 17, they were married in 1990, and had their first child Duane F. Smith Jr. Sept. 6th, 1991. The couple had their second son Bradley Isaiah Smith Dec. 30th, 1996. He lived every day for his devoted wife, beloved sons, and cherished grandchildren as an excellent father by providing a lifestyle few can imagine, teaching his children about the ways of their ancestors, fiercely protecting his family, and establishing the rule of God’s kingdom in his home. He loved to show his regard for both his mother and father, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and never failed to give them his very best. As the Mayor of Carson Town, USA he continued to nurture and preserve our family’s legacy. From taking the time to lend a helping hand, to repairing and remodeling homes, attending doctor’s appointments, visiting with loved ones, influencing and educating the younger generation, and supporting the family by whatever means were at his discretion. His love for family and strong morality are direct results of being raised in our community. The Smith, Blackburn, and Carson family is quite large and interconnected to the past of so many families. Family meant so much to Duane F. Smith Sr. you could name just about anyone and he could tell you how the two of you were related in no time. Duane F. Smith Sr. was an entrepreneur responsible for the development of many successful small businesses ranging from retail to production. Motorheads know Duane as the Candy Man for Custom Autobody and Paint’s national acclaim in Low Rider magazine for the first 4x4 Low Rider and the Grand Supreme title at the Funkmaster Flex Celebrity Car Shows. Subsequently, throughout the years Custom Autobody and Paint completed work for many significant individuals in both the local and social community. The excellent quality of his work afforded the business much success as there were always customers, employees, and many arrangements made with other businesses and individuals for ongoing work solidifying his place as #1. Duane F. Smith Sr. started Enwoods Productions LLC. Record Label jump-starting the career of various local celebrities as the enterprise advanced. Enwoods Productions LLC. has brought notable entertainers to perform in the area, created opportunity for the artist in this community to be heard, and established meaningful connections that has led to the success of far too many to name. The company has many subsidiary branches continuing to generate traction and to market for the artists and is in partnership with other successful labels that operate throughout the nation. Duane F.
