Lawrence Adams

David Lawrence Adams went to be with his Lord and Savior on the 3rd of February, 2025. He was born on the 14th of December, 1938 to the late Odell and Lucille Adams. Lawrence attended Friendship Baptist Church and had many hobbies. He was a member of Yadkin Valley Cruisers and was an avid fan of drag racing. Lawrence also enjoyed fishing and gardening in his free time. He served his community through Fall Creek Fire Department, eventually retiring from it.

 In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his loving wife; Maye Adams, and his brothers; Bill Adams, and Paul Hugh Adams. He is survived by his son; Craig (Devon) Adams, grandchildren; Blaze Adams, and Dylan Ray, sisters; Barbara (James) Ring, Betty (Fred) Gentle, and brothers; Roger (Sandy) Adams, and Larry (Una) Adams, and his close friends; Earl (Darlene) Cornelius, and Freddy Willard. The family will be holding a service Friday, February 7th 2025 at Friendship Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service to meet with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to God’s Garage of 401 Deer Trail Rd. East Bend, NC, 27018. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville will be serving the Adams family.
