David Alden Bruce

David Alden Bruce, 62, passed away Thursday July 25, 2019. He was born February 2, 1957 in Yadkin County to the late Troy Alden and Mabel “Peggy” Owens Bruce. He was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Twila Jo Bruce; grandparents Leslie and Ethel Carter Bruce, James and Mallie Owens. He is survived by his daughter Elainna (Yuri) Rickenbacker; granddaughters Zoe Rickenbacker, Twila “Sky” Rickenbacker; brother Derl Bruce; aunts Nell B. Pullen, Dot B. Hutchens; uncles Harold (Shelby) Bruce, Harold (Ann) Owens, Roger (Millie) Owens; several cousins; best friend Phil Nifong. His Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday July 28, 2019 at Baltimore United Methodist Church by Rev. Chad Shoaf. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
