David Allen Peace

Winston Salem Mr. David Allen Peace, 39, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at his home. David was born September 29, 1982 in Yadkin County to Sharon Porter Peace and James Harold Peace, Jr. He was a member of New Patterson Grove Faith Church where he served as a deacon and audio technician. David enjoyed NASCAR, especially Jimmy Johnson, and all things Harry Potter. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Porter and James & Lula Mae Peace. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Porter Peace; his father, James (Julie) Peace, Jr.; grandmother, Mattie Lou Porter; fiancée, Jamie Crow; his fiancée’s parents, Robert & Theresa Crow; sisters, Natasha Porter and Robin Stegall; brothers, James Myron (Tawana) Peace and Fredrick Peace; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Eric Helton officiating. David will be available for public viewing Saturday, January 15th from 8:00AM to 10:30AM and Friday, January 14, 2022 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The family requests all in attendance wear masks and practice social distance. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Patterson Grove Faith Church Building Fund, 3432 Forbush Road, East Bend, NC 27018.
