David Wayne Wall

Mr. David Wayne Wall, 83, passed away on Saturday night, March 16, 2024 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. He was born in Yadkin County on February 6, 1941 to the late Herman Wesley Wall and Mary Etta Wall. Mr. Wall retired from Craver Chair Company in Courtney, NC. He enjoyed riding his tractor, working in the yard, and sometimes just sitting on the front porch. 

He is survived by two sons, Eric Wall and Glenn Wall; and three brothers, Wesley Sherrill (Dena) Wall, Jerry Ray (Rena) Wall, and Ronnie Dale (Lynn) Wall; and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 3:00PM at Flat Rock Baptist Church in Hamptonville, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00PM. The family would like to express a very special thank you to Dawn Gough, who was a caregiver and loving friend, and all of the staff at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care given to Mr. Wall and his family.
