Dennis "Eddie" Edward Brown

Dennis Edward “Eddie” Brown, 73, passed away Saturday, July, 9, 2022. He was born April 17, 1949 in Surry County to the late Earnest Brown and Bernice Owens Brown. Mr. Brown served in then Us Army for 28 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. Eddie loved to fish and some of his favorite lakes are Lake Norman, Lake Wateree, Claytor Lake and Jordan Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Ann Cooke Brown; son Randy (Kim) Cooke; grandchildren Dennis Cooke, Jessica (Tony) Parsons; great grandchildren Dylan Cooke, Tanner Cooke, Alexa Gregory, Kolton Josey; sisters Atha (Tim) Ansel, Mandy Ashley; brothers Kent Brown, Everette “Buck” (Kay) Brown, Emory “Little B” (Juana) Brown. The family will receive friends from2-3 PM Monday July 11, 2022 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM following the visitation at the Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. James Pardue. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church with Full Military Honors by the NC National Honor Guard and VFW Post 10346.
