Jonesville – Dillon “Deber & Dee” Ray Macemore, 82, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. He was born February 4, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late Everette and Annie Benton Macemore. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Dillon loved old cars, farming, riding his tractor on the farm and bush hogging. He retired from Western Electric. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred Macemore and Donnie Macemore. Surviving are his brothers, Danny Macemore, Terry (Jean) Macemore, Jerry Macemore; nieces, Donna (Rusty) Crissman, Kim (Eric) Stone; nephew, Daniel (Joanie) Macemore; sisters-in-law, Eunice Robbins, Sharon Poindexter; grand nieces, Ansley Stone, Victoria Crissman; grand nephews, James Stone, Justin Crissman, Nathaniel Macemore, and Grayson Macemore. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Fall Creek Baptist by the Rev. Don Hudson and the Rev. James Pardue. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, which is serving the Macemore family.
