Dinah Sue Fain Prim

Mrs. Dinah Sue Fain Prim, 71, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was born in Forsyth County on February 4, 1952 to Odell S. Fain and Kathryn S. Fain. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by husband, James David “J.D.” Prim and son-in-law, Jason Hutchens. She is survived by her mother, Kathryn; daughters, Susan (Jerry) Mabe, Christy Hutchens, and Sharon (Jeff) Collins; grandchildren, Kristin (Brandon) Gentry, Dustin (Hannah) Oliver, Kayla (Tony) Pardue, Paige (Scott) Sherrod, Makenzie (Kyle) Matthews, Andrew Hutchens, Nicole Collins, Sydney Collins, and Luke Collins; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Addie Jae, Skyler, Drake, Oaklyn, Delilah, Sadie, and Penelope; and special puppy, Lillyann. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Marty Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church in Pinnacle, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Hugh Chatham ICU for the compassionate care given to Mrs. Prim and her family. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Prim family.
