Donald Wayne Harris

Mocksville Mr. Donald Wayne Harris, 67, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Harris was born August 21, 1951 in Yadkin County to the late Frank and Ruth Gentry Harris. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, welding, gardening and four wheeling, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Harris is survived by four sons, Christopher Wayne Harris and wife Crystal, Franklin Vance Harris, Michael Dale Harris and wife Tara and Martin David Harris; 21 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Stokes; and three brothers, Tommy Harris and wife Ernestine, Motson Gurney Harris, and Steve Harris and wife Marie. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Monty Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
