Donald Junior Keaton

Keaton Yadkinville-Mr. Donald Junior Keaton, 73, of Yadkinville peacefully passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on April 17, 1947 to George Lee and Helen Juanita Norman Keaton. He was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church. He was a proud Vietnam veteran; having served in the US Army. He loved to farm, fish, and ride motorcycles. He adored his pet, Max, and was an avid race fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Long. Surviving are his wife, Diane Eldreth Keaton; three sons; Eric (wife Mariflor), Jason, Shannon and daughter; Angie; grandchildren Katlyn, Hannah, Jesse, and Jase ; a sister Shirley Petree; and a brother Bill Huff. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 1:00PM at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Dennis Ammons with full military honors conducted by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The body will be available for viewing on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 8:00-5:00 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, 3521 Wyo Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Keaton family.
