Donald Gray White

Boonville Mr. Donald Gray White, 71, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at SECU Hospice Care Center. Mr. White was born August 26, 1949 in Surry County to William and Lottie Mae Weatherman White. He enjoyed anything that involved horses. In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by a son, Tony Scott White; a granddaughter, Kaylee White; five sisters, Marie Buelin, Jessie Gray, Peggy White, Hilda Brown, and Grace Sizemore; and two brothers, James White and WM White. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda Brown White; five children, David (Lisa) White, Steven (Nancy) White, Shane (Diane) White, Cloey White, and Donna (Darrell) Buelin; twenty-three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Sizemore and Wanda White; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will follow at Center United Methodist Church cemetery. Mr. White will be available for public viewing Wednesday, March 10th from 11:00AM to 5:00PM and Thursday, March 11th from 8:00AM to 1:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice and SECU Hospice Care Center for the loving care given to Mr. White.
