Donna Jenkins Henderson

Hamptonville Mrs. Donna Kay Jenkins Henderson, 58, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Henderson was born December 1, 1964 in Surry County to Buddy Wayne and Dovie Cox Jenkins. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by a son, Keith Henderson, and a grandchild, Adian Crawford. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, J. David Henderson; a daughter, Amber Crawford; grandchildren, Mackayla Sullivan, Alyssa (Austin) South, and Avalyn Henderson; great grandchildren, Kayguun Jackson, Alayla Jackson, Malachi South, and Skarlet South; a sister, Penny Darnell; and two brothers, Buddy (Gina) Jenkins and Jamie Jenkins. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Stephen Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center ICU for the loving care given to Mrs. Henderson.
