Donna Marie Patterson Moore

East Bend Donna Patterson Moore, 58, of East Bend passed away on Friday June 24, 2022, no longer by our side, now rejoicing in her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Donna was born on March 3, 1964, to Don and Carol Patterson. She is proceeded in death by her mother Carole Patterson. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Wayne Moore; daughter Jessi Moore; son Tanner Moore (Carlie). Also surviving is her father, Don Patterson; father-in-law Kenneth Moore and mother-in-law Novella Moore, sister Darla Michelle Patterson Gross (Dan); brother-in-law Michael Moore (Lori); nieces Jordan, Gracion, and Joyner Gross; and nephews Dustin and Justin Moore; Along with a host of other beloved family members and friends. Donnas Prayer was that the Lord would guide her each day in shining His light of love to everyone around her. She did just that during her many years of employment with Davis Urology and in recent years as she worked with the folks at New Horizon’s Adult Day Services. Donna was also a faithful member at Union Grove Baptist Church where she actively served in several areas including the nursery, kids church, and VBS where she loved all the children as if they were her own. She was also a part of the CARE team ministry where she shared her gift of encouragement with others, and she loved participating in women’s bible study groups. Donna shared Jesus with everyone she met through her words and her actions. She always had a big, bright smile on her face, with a heart full of love to match! Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Gooden officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, June 27, 2022, at Gentry Funeral Home in East Bend. The family would like to express great thanks to the 2nd floor GI staff at Forsyth Medical Center for their kind and compassionate care.
