Doris Godfrey Bolin

Bolin Yadkinville – Doris Mae Godfrey Bolin, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1932 in Harnett County to the late Ernest Howard Godfrey and Mamie Marison Godfrey.  Doris retired from Western Electric / AT&T after several years of service.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Carl Bolin; brother, Howard Godfrey.  Surviving are her son, Bennie (Diana) Bolin; grandchildren, Megan (Evan) Cave, Phillip Bolin, Bradley Crumbley; sister, Mary Mildred Riddle; brother, Jerry (Bonnie) Godfrey.  Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Shacktown Church of Christ by Brother Steve McCollum.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Bolin family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
