Doris Elizabeth Norman Crews-Robinette

Hamptonville – Doris Elizabeth Norman Crews-Robinette, 81, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022. She was born January 19, 1941 in Iredell County to the late Jack and Lizzy Mae Gaither Norman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband of 53 years, Glenn Edwin Crews; two brothers, Bill Norman and Eugene “Babe” Norman. Surviving is her husband, David Michael Robinette; children, Sharon Crews, Sheila Crews, Gary (Ann) Crews, Cynthia Crews, Pam (Keith) Crews Miller; extended children, Michael (Ashlee) Robinette, Stephanie (Jon) Turbiville, Rhonda (William) York; nine grandchildren; seven extended grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Ann “Snookie” (Roger) Ireland, Sylvia Michell, Earlene Norman; brothers, Bob (Debbie) Norman, Joe (Linda) Norman; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 12:00PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 at West Yadkin Assembly of God. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at West Yadkin Assembly of God.
