Yadkinville-  Mrs. Dorothy T. Miller, 93, of Yadkinville, NC died peacefully on August 8, 2018 at the SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville.  She was born on June 22, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Dewey and Velma G. Todd.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Odell Miller, and by her brother, Wayne Todd.  She is survived by her daughter, Wanda K. Miller and her son, Gerald G. Miller.  She was a member of Turners Creek Baptist Church.  Mrs. Miller was a cook at Yadkin Nursing Center for many years and the patients loved her old fashioned cooking.  Dorothy’s long and happy life was made possible by her faith in Jesus Christ, her family, and her many friends who loved her.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Roy Flynt.  Interment will follow in Turner’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice Care Center, 243 North Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC  27055.
