Dorothy Ann Castevens Willard

Boonville – Dorothy Ann Castevens Willard, 73, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024.  She was born January 16, 1951 in Surry County to the late James Martin Castevens and Cora Wood Castevens.  She lived a life full of the outdoors, music, crafts and fishing.  She was a devoted wife to David Willard of Jonesville, N.C., a loving mother to Marybelle (Alan) Wooten of Fountain, N.C., sister, aunt and friend to many more.  Dorothy always brought joy to those who were around her.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Mel Castevens, Wayne Castevens, Larry Castevens, and Bobby Castevens; nephew, Jason Castevens.  She is survived by her husband, David Willard; daughter, Marybelle Wooten; brother, Bill Castevens; and many other family members.  The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.   Gentry Family Funeral Service in serving the Willard family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
