Glade Valley

Mr. A. Dwane Caudle, 81 of Glade Valley, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Dwane was born December 17, 1936 in Alleghany County to Alfred Coy and Mozelle Jolly Caudle.  He graduated from Sparta High School in 1954 and served a four year tour in the US Air Force.  Dwane retired from Piedmont Airlines after 33 years of service.  He was a long time member and deacon at Arlington First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Libby Johnson Caudle; one son, Mark Caudle and wife Deanie of Beavercreek Ohio; two granddaughters, Catherine and Stephanie; one grandson, Thomas, and his sister, Lois Gentry. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Arlington First Baptist Church with Rev. Matty Ponce de Leon, Rev. Jerry Fugate, and Rev. Russ Nixon officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00AM, prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607 or Arlington First Baptist Church, 345 S. Main St. Jonesville, NC 28642.
