Dwight Lester Cass

Boonville – Dwight Lester Cass, 85, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born July 26, 1939 in Surry County to the late Lester Cass and Pauline Johnson Cass. Dwight had several different hobbies, but his favorite was dealing with antique cars. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Hinshaw Cass; sister, Pat Hall. He is survived by his sons, Marty (Luda) Cass, Dane Cass; grandchildren, Gunner Cass, Griffin (Savanna) Cass, Rachel (Patrick Kronner) Cass, Molly (Vaughn Surratt) Cass, Carson Cass; great grandchildren, Hadleigh Surratt, Elliott Kronner. His graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, February 28, 2025 at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Marty Nixon. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Friday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Cass family.
