Earl Wayne East

Hamptonville Mr. Earl Wayne East, 76, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. East was born April 25, 1945 in Surry County to Earl Elmer and Bessie Harris East. In addition to his father, Mr. East was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth East. He is survived by his mother; his loving wife, Brenda Kay East; two children, Johnny East and Kim Parks; grandchildren, Matthew & Brittany East and Ryan & Austin Parks; great grandchildren, Sophia and Adalynn Parks; and sisters, Susie Walters, Shirley Freeman and Linda Tetrick. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center 5th floor ICU Cardiovascular for the loving care given to Mr. East. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the East family.
