Eddie Gray Sapp, 54, of Yadkinville, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2019 at Novant-Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born in Forsyth county, NC on November 12, 1964; son of the late Robah Gray Sapp, Jr. and Faye Hardy Sapp.

Earlier in his life, he attended Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, was avid fox hunter, loved his dogs and racing.

Survivors include his mother; Glenda White Sapp, fiancée’; Melody Wood, son Phillip Gray Sapp, half-sister; Tina Eddy, half-brother; Larry Bailey and two Aunts; Pam Rabon and Shirley Alspaugh.

A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm from Gentry Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Ammons and Mr. Ted Baity officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive United Methodist church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
