Eddie Gray Warner

East Bend Mr. Edward “Eddie” Gray Warner, Jr., 71, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Eddie was born March 7, 1947 in Forsyth County to Edward and Ida Cody Warner. He graduated from Parkland High School. Eddie enjoyed car racing, gardening, and traveling to the beach. In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Laura Phillips Warner; a brother, Robert Warner; a sister, Charlotte (Wade) Blackburn; two sisters-in-law, Pattie (Dave) Bowser and Myra Phillips; a special cousin, Ruth Curlee; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Will Hamric officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center ICU for the loving care given to Mr. Warner.
