Edith Mae Riley Brown

Edith Mae Riley Brown, 93, passed away Friday March 9, 2018. She was born October 3, 1924 to the late Clarence Grady Riley and Nora Pardue Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard Melmoth Brown. Surviving are four daughters Linda Driver, Kay (Randy) Brown, Ella (Brent) Shaw, Patty (Mickey) Comer; grandchildren Karen (Gary) Eads, Ronald (Shelia) Driver, Martha (Phillip) Hill, Stephen (Robin) Brown, Daniel (Sandy) Brown, Matthew (Lisa) Shaw, Bradley (Kim) Shaw; great grandchildren Carson Brown, Peyton Brown, Jackson Brown, Noah Hill; sister Louise (Colon) Shore. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Monday March 12, 2018 at Marler Road Baptist Church. Her funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM following the visitation at the church by Rev. Randy Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the amazing staff at Woltz Hospice Home and our earth angel Sandy Brown for the loving care given to Mrs. Brown. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Brown family.
