Edith Royall Hauser

Yadkinville Mrs. Edith Gray Royall Hauser, 98, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Willowbrook Nursing Center. Mrs. Hauser was born May 10, 1919 in Yadkin County to Sheliah and Elsie Shore Royall. She attended Gospel Way Baptist Church for several years before her health declined. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hauser was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Calvin Hauser; a son, Harold Kimmer; a step daughter, Wanda Seiders; a step grandson, Richard Seiders; two sisters, Edna Hutchens and Olean Harris; and three brothers, Hubert, Charles, and Clifford Royall. She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Lydia) Kimmer and Jerry (Judy) Kimmer; grandchildren, Sherry Vestal, Terry (Jeff) Taylor, and Michael (Bridgett) Kimmer; a step grandson, Jon (Julie) Seiders; five great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and three brothers, Danny (Judy) Royall, Bobby (Evelyn) Royall, and Bill Royall. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Chris Hauser officiating. Burial will follow at Center United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to her special niece Janie Royall and Brandy and the staff of Willowbrook Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Hauser.
