Edwin Andrew Kennedy

Edwin Andrew Kennedy, 63, passed away Friday October 25, 2024. He was born May 1, 1961 to Edwin Lafayette Kennedy and Andrea Peterssen Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy worked for the USPS for 35 years. The past two years he delivered meals on wheels for Yadkin County and was a member of the NALC Union. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Lori Delaventura Kennedy; children Jesse Kennedy (Maria Wooten), Amanda Kennedy (Matthew Jenkins), Andrew Kennedy (Brianna Simpson); grandchildren Joseph, Austin, Matthew, Eadith, Lennon, Kaisen; sister Laurie Kennedy-Hennessey; nephew Adam Hennessey; several other family members. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:30 PM Sunday October 27, 2024 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Kennedy family.
