Elizabeth Miller Campbell

Sarah Elizabeth Miller Campbell, age 88, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020. She was born on April 1, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late James Winston Miller and Mattie Marie Spencer Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Carroll Miller, Edward Miller, Billy Miller, and her sister, Shirley Robbins. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dewey Graham Campbell; children, Randall (Rosalie) Campbell and Robin (Ken) Thompson; grandchildren, Geoffrey Campbell, Marc Thompson, and Beth Thompson. Mrs. Campbell was retired from Yadkin County School System after 35 years of service, and was a member of Mount Pleasant UMC. She loved gardening, reading, and later in life traveling. There will be a private graveside service held at a later date at Mount Pleasant UMC Cemetery. The family would like to thank Elizabeth’s granddaughter Beth Thompson for the invaluable loving care of Elizabeth and Graham over the last several years.
