Elizabeth "Liz" Frazier Duvall Douglas

Elizabeth “Liz” Frazier Duvall Douglas, 52, passed away Friday February 16, 2024.   She was born July 2, 1971 to Dr. Paul Frazier Duvall and Sandra Cline Duvall.  Liz spent most of her youth in Stillwater, Oklahoma before moving to Greensboro in 1986. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill and attaining her Masters of Accounting from UNC-Greensboro, Liz moved to Hamptonville and has been working as a Certified Public Accountant. Liz enjoyed traveling the world, going on cruises, experiencing fine food and wine, horseback riding with friends, and cheering on her alma mater Tarheels. She loved being outdoors from the beach to the mountains, reading books, singing random songs at the top of her lungs, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her mother Sandra Cline Duvall.  Surviving are her husband, Kelly Douglas; sons Jackson Douglas, Spencer Douglas (Megan Hamby); grandson Ford Douglas; father Paul Duvall; sister Andrea Thornton. In loving honor of Liz's memory, a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 8 at Laurel Gray Vineyards in Hamptonville, NC (http://www.laurelgray.com/).  Friends and family are invited to drop in anytime from 4:30PM – 7:00PM. This will be a casual open-house format.  Please join us in honoring and remembering the wonderful “Life of Liz” (LOL)..   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the family.
