Ellen Davis Jester

Yadkinville - Ellen Davis Jester, 79, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. Mrs. Jester was born December 8, 1940 in Yadkin County to Ralph and Gladys Hobson Davis. She was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church, where she helped with the 2 and 3-year-old Sunday School class for several years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jester was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Larry Wayne Jester; two sons, Eric (Angie) Jester and Lance Jester; a granddaughter, Lanie Sierra Jester; a stepdaughter, Tracy Renegar and family; and a special sister-in-law and friend, Leda Everhart. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Will Hamric officiating. Ellen will be available for viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
