Ellouise Head Michelli

Yadkinville Mrs. Ellouise Jewell Head Michelli, age 76 of Yadkinville, formerly of Byesville, Ohio, passed away on June 15, 2022 at Novant Health Medical Center. Ellouise was born March 20, 1946 in Noble County, Ohio to the late Albert Montgomery and Jewell Bernice Larrick Head. Due to her parents’ untimely death, she was raised from the age of 2 by Wade and Nora Lee Longfellow. She was a 1965 graduate of Caldwell High School in Caldwell, Ohio and was a member of Main Avenue United Methodist Church in Byesville. Ellouise was a dedicated wife and mother, first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. In life, she loved to read her bible and pray with and for others. She listened daily to her gospel music and loved flowers. In the 80’s and 90’s, she would use sign language to interpret to the deaf at Sunday morning worship service at Byesville Assembly of God. Ellouise learned sign language at the age of 2 because this was her only way to communicate with her family that was deaf. In addition to her parents, Ellousie was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn A. Walls; a brother, Albert P. Head; two half-brothers, Charles and Robert Moore; and a special cousin, LaVonna Lloyd. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 53 years, Carl Richard Michelli; two daughters, Carla (Mitchell) Wolford and Cheryl Michelli (David); a son, Michael Michelli (Kandy); grandchildren, Gabriel Clark, Christopher Michelli, and Garrett Wolford; a sister, Bernice E. Boyd; several nieces and nephews; and her fur babies, Peanut and Snoopy. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. Burial will follow at Yadkinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
